With the triumph, Woodward improves its record to 20-12 on the year. The Boomers host Enid (Enid, OK) to clash with the Plainsmen in a non-league game on Thursday, September 21. The Plainsmen come into the game with a record of 20-9. Enid lost 11-1 in their recent non-league game against Edmond Memorial (Edmond, OK)

In their next game, the Red Tornadoes clash with the Weatherford Eagles (Weatherford, OK) in a 4A District 2 game, on Wednesday, September 20. Clinton will attempt to improve on its 4-18 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 18-4 record after their 9-3 league win over Bethany (Bethany, OK).
