The Coffee Trojans the host Ware County Gators softball squad by a final score of 5-1 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Trojans (12-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lanier County (Lakeland, GA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, Lanier County held off Clinch County (Homerville, GA), 15-0, in a league battle.

The Gators now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Statesboro for a 5A Region 1 battle on Thursday, September 21. Ware County will confront a Blue Devils squad coming off a 8-7 league loss to Greenbrier (Evans, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 9-5.
