The Echols County Wildcats softball team (Statenville, GA), was routed 7-3 in Tuesday's league test with the visiting Turner County Titans (Ashburn, GA)

Coming up next, the Titans encounter the Lanier County Bulldogs (Lakeland, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 2 test, on Thursday, September 21. Turner County will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 10-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Coffee (Douglas, GA).

The Wildcats (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Charlton County (Folkston, GA). The Indians come into the 1A D-II Region 2 test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Charlton County edged Atkinson County (Pearson, GA), 14-0, in a league test.
