Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Elkhorn South Storm (Omaha, NE), 14-2 in a league challenge.

The Dragons now sport a 21-1 record. They take the field next when they host Papillion-LaVista for a A District challenge on Thursday, September 21. Gretna will face a Monarchs squad coming off a 14-3 league win over Papillion-LaVista South (Papillion, NE). The Monarchs record now stands at 19-5.

With the loss, Elkhorn South falls to 11-10 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Elkhorn (Elkhorn, NE) to face the Antlers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 20. The Antlers enter the challenge with a record of 7-9. Elkhorn won 8-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Ashland-Greenwood (Ashland, NE)
