Haralson County Rebels (Tallapoosa, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Murray County Indians (Chatsworth, GA), 1-0 in a league challenge.

The Rebels now own a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rockmart for a 2A Region 7 challenge on Thursday, September 21. Haralson County will battle a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 9-1 league win over North Murray (Chatsworth, GA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 18-1.

With the loss, Murray County falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Indians host Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA) to battle the Warriors in a 2A Region 7 challenge on Thursday, September 21. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 0-11. Gordon Central lost 17-0 in their recent league challenge against Model (Rome, GA)
