The Villa Rica Wildcats routed the visiting Jackson Jaguars softball squad by a count of 20-2 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Wildcats (12-2) will now prepare for their battle against Mays (Atlanta, GA). The Raiders go into the 5A Region 5 battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, Mays topped Jackson (Atlanta, GA), 6-4, in a league battle.

The Jaguars now sport a 4-9 record. They play next when they host Tri-Cities for a 5A Region 5 battle on Wednesday, September 20. Jackson will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 20-5 league loss to Lithia Springs (Lithia Springs, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-10.
