Thomson Bulldogs (Thomson, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Washington County Golden Hawks (Sandersville, GA), 12-1 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they host Glascock County for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 20. Thomson will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 19-0 league win over Wilkinson County (Irwinton, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, Washington County falls to 14-3 on the campaign. The Golden hawks travel to Academy of Richmond County (Augusta, GA) to battle the Musketeers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 21. The Musketeers enter the challenge with a record of 0-13. Academy of Richmond County lost 27-6 in their recent league challenge against Salem (Conyers, GA)
