Iowa High School Volleyball - Alburnett overwhelmed by Central City

In Tuesday's league battle, the host Central City Wildcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Alburnett Pirates.
The Wildcats (12-5) will now prepare for their battle against East Buchanan (Winthrop, IA). The Buccaneers come into the Tri-Rivers - Valley battle with a 2-14 record. In their last battle, East Buchanan went down by Starmont (Arlington, IA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Pirates encounter the Springville Orioles (Springville, IA) in a Tri-Rivers - Valley battle, on Thursday, September 21. Alburnett will attempt to move on its 3-11 season record. The Orioles come into the battle with a 5-13 record after their 3-1 league loss to Maquoketa Valley (Delhi, IA).
