In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Ariton Purple Cats volleyball team scored a decisive 25-6 triumph over the Barbour County Jaguars.
The Purple Cats (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Long (Skipperville, AL). The Rebels come into the 2A Area 4 battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Long achieved victory over Abbeville (Abbeville, AL), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Jaguars clash with the Ariton Purple Cats (Ariton, AL) in a 2A Area 4 battle, on Monday, September 25. Barbour County will attempt to advance on its 0-8 season record. The Purple Cats come into the battle with a 7-3 record after their 25-10 league loss to Long (Skipperville, AL).
