In Tuesday's league bout, the Big Rapids Cardinals (Big Rapids, MI) volleyball squad were victorious over the host Chippewa Hills Warriors (Remus, MI), by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Big Rapids upgrades its record to 3-4 on the year. The Cardinals host Central Montcalm (Stanton, MI) to play the Hornets in a Central State bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Central Montcalm lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Morley Stanwood (Morley, MI)
The Warriors now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Newaygo for a Central State bout on Saturday, September 23. Chippewa Hills will play a Lions squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Shelby (Shelby, MI). The Lions record now stands at 5-15.
