Virginia High School Volleyball - Bland County overwhelmed by Giles

September 19, 2023: Pearisburg, VA 24134

In Tuesday's league battle, the host Giles Spartans volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Bland County Bears.

The Spartans (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Pioneers come into the Mountain Empire battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Fort Chiswell lost by Auburn (Riner, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Bears clash with the Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 25. Bland County will attempt to advance on its 7-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 5-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Craig County (New Castle, VA).
