The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Calhoun Tigers (Letohatchee, AL) and the host Central Lions (Hayneville, AL), saw Calhoun's volleyball squad beat Central by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Calhoun upgrades its record to 5-1 on the year. The Tigers host Notasulga (Notasulga, AL) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Monday, September 25. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Notasulga lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Maplesville (Maplesville, AL)

The Lions now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Shields for a 1A Area 4 bout on Tuesday, September 26.
