North Carolina High School Volleyball - Cleveland edged by Clayton

The Clayton Comets held off the host Cleveland Rams volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.

The Comets now have a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Willow Spring for a Greater Neuse River 4A test on Thursday, September 21.

The Rams (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Bengals enter the Greater Neuse River 4A test with a 5-8 record. In their last challenge, Fuquay - Varina nipped South Garner (Garner, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.
