The Jacksonville Golden Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Cleburne County Tigers to 1 in the Golden Eagles league victory on Tuesday.

The Golden Eagles now possess a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cherokee County for a non-league game on Thursday, September 21. Jacksonville will meet a Warriors team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Pell City (Pell City, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 17-10.

The Tigers (2-13) will now prepare for their game against White Plains (Anniston, AL). The Wildcats enter the 4A Area 10 game with a 11-12 record. In their last game, White Plains defeated Moody (Moody, AL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
