The Raiders (12-12) will now prepare for their battle against Paulding County (Dallas, GA). The Patriots come into the 6A Area 5 battle with a 1-16 record. In their last battle, Paulding County lost by Hiram (Hiram, GA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Spartans encounter the North Paulding Wolfpack (Dallas, GA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 21. South Paulding will attempt to advance on its 7-9 season record. The Wolfpack come into the battle with a 21-17 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to East Coweta (Sharpsburg, GA).
