The East Ridge Warriors volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Magoffin County Hornets to 0 in the Warriors non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Warriors now have a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prestonsburg for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 20. East Ridge will meet a Blackcats team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY). The Blackcats record now stands at 6-9.

The Hornets (2-15) will now prepare for their game against June Buchanan (Pippa Passes, KY). The Crusaders enter the non-league game with a 3-11 record. In their last game, June Buchanan dropped by Letcher County Central (Whitesburg, KY), 3-0, in a league game.
