In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Montrose Red Hawks volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Fruita Monument Wildcats.

The Red Hawks (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Grand Junction (Grand Junction, CO). The Tigers come into the 4A/5A Southwestern battle with a 1-9 record. In their last battle, Grand Junction lost by Grand Junction Central (Grand Junction, CO), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the Grand Junction Central Warriors (Grand Junction, CO) in a 4A/5A Southwestern battle, on Tuesday, September 26.
