Mississippi High School Volleyball - Wayne County edged by Gautier

The Gautier Gators held off the host Wayne County War Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Gators now have a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Laurel for a non-league test on Thursday, September 21. Gautier will confront a Golden Tornadoes team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Stone (Wiggins, MS). The Golden Tornadoes record now stands at 1-12.
The War Eagles (3-17) will now prepare for their test against Vancleave (Vancleave, MS). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 10-8 record. In their last test, Vancleave was nudged by East Central (Moss Point, MS), 3-0, in a league test.
