West Virginia High School Volleyball - Lewis County tips Grafton

September 19, 2023: Grafton, WV 26354

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV) and the host Grafton Bearcats (Grafton, WV), saw Lewis County's volleyball squad nip Grafton by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Lewis County upgrades its record to 8-3 on the year. The Minutemen host Liberty (Clarksburg, WV) to play the Mountaineers in a Big Ten bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a record of 11-6. Liberty won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV)

The Bearcats now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host North Marion for a Big Ten bout on Thursday, September 21. Grafton will play a Huskies squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Tucker County (Hambleton, WV). The Huskies record now stands at 4-7.
