The Greene County Tigers held off the host Marion Rams volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.

The Tigers now have a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sumter Central for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 20. Greene County will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Greensboro (Greensboro, AL). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-4.

The Rams (0-6) will now prepare for their test against Tuscaloosa Academy (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Knights enter the AISA AA Region 2 test with a 5-11 record. In their last test, Tuscaloosa Academy was nudged by Westminster School at Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL), 3-0, in a non-league test.
