The Heritage Pioneers volleyball team (Lynchburg, VA), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Liberty Minutemen (Bedford, VA)

The Minutemen (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Rustburg (Rustburg, VA). The Red Devils enter the Seminole challenge with a 11-2 record. In their last challenge, Rustburg defeated Amherst County (Amherst, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Pioneers encounter the Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 20. Heritage will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Comets enter the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 3-1 league loss to Bassett (Bassett, VA).
