In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Hillcrest Hawks.
The Red Wolves (9-10) will now prepare for their battle against Lemont (Lemont, IL). The Lemont HS come into the South Suburban battle with a 17-6 record. In their last battle, Lemont defeated Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Hawks encounter the Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL) in a South Suburban battle, on Thursday, September 21. Hillcrest will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Argonauts come into the battle with a 2-9 record after their 2-0 league win over Bremen (Midlothian, IL).
