The Irvine Vaqueros volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Sage Hill Lightning to 1 in the Vaqueros league victory on Tuesday.

The Vaqueros now possess a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwood for a Pacific Coast game on Thursday, September 21. Irvine will meet a Timberwolves team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Portola (Irvine, CA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 20-2.

The Lightning (6-11) will now prepare for their game against University (Irvine, CA). The Trojans enter the Pacific Coast game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, University was dropped by Beckman (Irvine, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
