The Indians now possess a 22-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Port Arthur Memorial for a 5A Region III District 17 game on Friday, September 22. Port Neches-Groves will meet a Titans team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Sterling (Baytown, TX). The Titans record now stands at 1-9.

The Ganders (1-13) will now prepare for their game against Nederland (Nederland, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 5A Region III District 17 game with a 23-12 record. In their last game, Nederland defeated Crosby (Crosby, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
