The Long Beach Bearcats (Long Beach, MS) volleyball overcame the visiting Pascagoula Panthers (Pascagoula, MS), 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
With the win, Long Beach upgrades its record to 10-6 on the year. The Bearcats host Picayune (Picayune, MS) to face the Maroon Tide in a Class 5 Region 7 outing on Thursday, September 21. The Maroon Tide go into the outing with a record of 2-18.
The Panthers now own a 2-15 record. They play next when they host George County for a Class 5 Region 4 outing on Thursday, September 21. Pascagoula will confront a Rebels team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Hancock (Kiln, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 8-10.
