The Mayfield Cardinals topped the host Marshall County Marshals volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Cardinals now have a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ballard Memorial for a District 3 test on Thursday, September 21. Mayfield will confront a Bombers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Graves County (Mayfield, KY). The Bombers record now stands at 13-7.

The Marshals (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Christian Fellowship (Benton, KY). The Eagles enter the District 4 test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, Christian Fellowship gained a win over Murray (Murray, KY), 3-0, in a league test.
