The Mason County Royals volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Newport Wildcats to 0 in the Royals non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Royals now have a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fleming County for a non-league game on Thursday, September 21. Mason County will meet a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 10-8.

The Wildcats (3-16) will now prepare for their game against Conner (Hebron, KY). The Cougars enter the non-league game with a 18-4 record. In their last game, Conner gained a win over Cooper (Union, KY), 3-0, in a league game.
