The Bulldogs now possess a 8-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Palmer for a 3A Region III District 18 game on Friday, September 22. Rice will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Eustace (Eustace, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-14.

The Eagles (7-16) will now prepare for their game against Blooming Grove (Blooming Grove, TX). The Lions enter the 3A Region III District 18 game with a 13-10 record. In their last game, Blooming Grove was nudged by Malakoff (Malakoff, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
