The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Mounds View won 3-2 in their recent league bout against Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN)

The Wildcats now own a 12-10 record. They play next when they host Hudson for a Big Rivers bout on Thursday, September 21. River Falls will play a Raiders squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Prescott (Prescott, WI). The Raiders record now stands at 18-5.
