St. James Academy Thunder (Lenexa, KS) backers left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Saint Thomas Aquinas Saints (Overland Park, KS), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Thunder battle the Shawnee Mission North Bison (Shawnee Mission, KS) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 21. St. James Academy will attempt to better on its 13-3 season record. The Bison come into the match with a 0-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Mill Valley (Shawnee, KS).

With the loss, Saint Thomas Aquinas drops to 9-3 on the campaign. The Saints host Washburn Rural (Topeka, KS) to battle the Blues in a non-league match on Thursday, September 21.
