Tennessee High School Volleyball - South-Doyle nudged by Sequoyah

The Sequoyah Chiefs volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting South-Doyle Cherokees to 2 in the Chiefs league victory on Tuesday.
The Chiefs now have a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roane County for a AA District 5 game on Thursday, September 21. Sequoyah will meet a Yellowjackets team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Anderson County (Clinton, TN). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-3.
The Cherokees (1-11) will now prepare for their game against Anderson County (Clinton, TN). The Mavericks enter the AA District 4 game with a 20-8 record. In their last game, Anderson County nipped Alcoa (Alcoa, TN), 3-0, in a league game.
