The Whitley County Colonels volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Williamsburg Yellowjackets to 2 in the Colonels league victory on Tuesday.

The Colonels (13-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Harlan (Harlan, KY). The Green Dragons enter the non-league challenge with a 1-13 record. In their last challenge, Harlan was nudged by Leslie County (Hyden, KY), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Yellowjackets encounter the Knox Central Panthers (Barbourville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 21. Williamsburg will attempt to move on its 11-12 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Lynn Camp (Corbin, KY).
