The Hickory Hawks topped the visiting Oscar Smith Tigers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Hawks confront the Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern game, on Tuesday, September 24. Hickory will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Grizzlies go into the game with a 5-1 record after their 3-2 league loss to Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA).

The Tigers (0-7) will now prepare for their game against Lakeland (Suffolk, VA). The Cavaliers go into the Southeastern game with a 2-8 record.
