California High School Flag Football - Bellflower sneaks past Katella

September 19, 2024: Anaheim, CA 92806

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Bellflower Buccaneers flag football squad scored a close 12-7 triumph over the Katella Knights.

The Buccaneers (8-0) will now prepare for their match against La Mirada (La Mirada, CA). The Matadores come into the match with a 3-6 record. In their last match, La Mirada was nudged by Downey (Downey, CA), 32-0, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Knights meet the Anaheim Colonists (Anaheim, CA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 24. Katella will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Colonists come into the match with a 9-2 record after their 20-12 league loss to Estancia (Costa Mesa, CA).
