The University Heights Blazers (Hopkinsville, KY) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY), 9-1 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Blazers now hold a 10-2 record. They play next when they host Sayre for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 21. University Heights will play a Spartans squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Bryan Station (Lexington, KY). The Spartans record now stands at 11-1.
With the loss, Christian County moves to 1-12 on the year. The Colonels host Russellville (Russellville, KY) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 26. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-14.
