The Mountain Ridge Sentinels soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Herriman Mustangs to 1 in the Sentinels league victory on Thursday.

The Sentinels now hold a 12-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bingham for a 6A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, September 24. Mountain Ridge will play a Miners squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Salt Lake Academy (Herriman, UT). The Miners record now stands at 4-10.

With the loss, Herriman moves to 9-5 on the year. The Mustangs host Salt Lake Academy (Herriman, UT) to play the Griffins in a 6A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, September 24. The Griffins go into the bout with a record of 1-10. Salt Lake Academy won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Bingham (South Jordan, UT)
