The Waseca Bluejays soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting New Ulm Eagles to 2 in the Bluejays league victory on Thursday.

The Bluejays now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they host St. Peter for a Class A Section 2 bout on Tuesday, September 24.

With the loss, New Ulm moves to 4-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Mankato West (Mankato, MN) to play the Scarlets in a Class A Section 2 bout on Saturday, September 21. The Scarlets go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Mankato West won 5-0 in their recent non-league bout against Austin (Austin, MN)
