The Winnsboro Raiders felled the visiting Hooks Hornets football team by a score of 33-16 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Raiders face the Commerce Tigers (Commerce, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 26. Winnsboro will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
The Hornets (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Queen City (Queen City, TX). The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Queen City lost by Harleton (Harleton, TX), 14-6, in a non-league challenge.
