In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Durango Demons soccer squad scored a tight 6-1 win over the Piedra Vista Panthers.
The Demons (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Grand Junction Central (Grand Junction, CO). The Warriors enter the non-league outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Grand Junction Central was overwhelmed by Montrose (Montrose, CO), 4-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Panthers confront the Bayfield Wolverines (Bayfield, CO) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 21. Piedra Vista will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record.
