Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Alleghany advances its record to 4-7 on the season. The Trojans host Surry Central (Dobson, NC) to face the Golden Eagles in a non-league test on Monday, September 23. The Golden Eagles go into the test with a record of 9-5. Surry Central lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC)

The Sauras now sport a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount Airy for a test on Tuesday, September 24.
