In Thursday's league test, the Shady Spring Tigers (Shady Spring, WV) volleyball squad edged the visiting Greenbrier East Spartans (Lewisburg, WV), by a final score of 3-2.
With the win, Shady Spring advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV) to face the Flying Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 8. The Flying Eagles go into the test with a record of 1-0. Woodrow Wilson won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV)
The Spartans now sport a 9-5 record.
