Fans at Thursday's league contest between the North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) and the visiting Rosewood Eagles (Goldsboro, NC), observed North Duplin's volleyball team top Rosewood by a count of 2-0.

The Rebels (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC). The Wildcats enter the contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Hobbton notched a victory over Union (Rose Hill, NC), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Eagles meet the Lakewood Leopards (Roseboro, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 24. Rosewood will attempt to move on its 4-10 season record. The Leopards enter the contest with a 5-4 record after their 2-0 league loss to Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC).
