The North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC) volleyball held off the visiting South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Hawks now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Kinston for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 24. North Lenoir will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, South Lenoir drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Midway (Dunn, NC) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league bout on Monday, September 23. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 8-0.
