Illinois High School Soccer - O'Fallon knocks off Alton

The O'Fallon Panthers soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Alton Redbirds to 1 in the Panthers league victory on Thursday.

The Panthers now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Althoff Catholic for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 21. O'Fallon will play a Crusaders squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Maryville Christian (Maryville, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 8-3.

With the loss, Alton moves to 4-6 on the year. The Redbirds host Belleville East (Belleville, IL) to play the Lancers in a Southwestern bout on Tuesday, September 24. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 1-7.
