The South Davidson Wildcats soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host North Stanly Comets to 1 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Thursday.
The Wildcats now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Thomasville for a Central Carolina 1A/2A bout on Monday, September 23. South Davidson will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to North Rowan (Spencer, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, North Stanly moves to 2-9 on the year. The Comets travel to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC) to play the Tigers in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A bout on Monday, September 23. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-9. Mount Pleasant won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Albemarle (Albemarle, NC)
