The Payette Pirates soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting The Ambrose School Archers to 2 in the Pirates league victory on Thursday.
The Pirates now hold a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Nyssa for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 24. Payette will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 9-1 league loss to Riverside (Boardman, OR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-6.
With the loss, The Ambrose School moves to 0-6 on the year. The Archers host Fruitland (Fruitland, ID) to play the Grizzlies in a 4A Snake River Valley bout on Tuesday, September 24. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Fruitland won 4-0 in their recent league bout against Emmett (Emmett, ID)
