In Thursday's league outing, the host Valley Cavaliers soccer squad scored a tight 7-1 victory over the Rangeley Lakes Lakers.
The Cavaliers (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Pine Tree Academy (Freeport, ME). The Breakers go into the non-league outing with a 2-0 record.
Next up, the Lakers confront the Telstar Rebels (Bethel, ME) in a 8 Person - South outing, on Monday, September 23. Rangeley Lakes will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Rebels go into the outing with a 3-1 record after their 9-1 league win over Wiscasset (Wiscasset, ME).
