The Buford Wolves triumphed over the visiting Mountain View Bears softball squad by a count of 11-3 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Wolves play the Dacula Falcons (Dacula, GA) in a 6A Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. Buford will attempt to upgrade on its 17-1 season record. The Falcons go into the challenge with a 14-7 record after their 12-4 league loss to Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA).

The Bears (6-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA). The Hawks go into the 6A Region 8 challenge with a 15-5 record. In their last challenge, Mill Creek toppled North Gwinnett (Suwanee, GA), 19-11, in a non-league challenge.
