The Colquitt County Packers overwhelmed the host Camden County Wildcats softball squad by a count of 15-5 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Packers meet the Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) in a 6A Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. Colquitt County will attempt to upgrade on its 14-6 season record. The Vikings go into the challenge with a 11-6 record after their 5-1 league win over Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA).
The Wildcats (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Tift County (Tifton, GA). The Blue Devils go into the 6A Region 1 challenge with a 13-7 record. In their last challenge, Tift County toppled Valdosta (Valdosta, GA), 17-1, in a league challenge.
