The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Georgia Military College Bulldogs (Milledgeville, GA) and the host Twiggs County Cobras (Jeffersonville, GA), observed Georgia Military College's softball team get by Twiggs County by a tally of 7-0.

The Bulldogs (13-6) will now prepare for their bout against Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA). The Trojans go into the 1A D-II Region 5 bout with a 13-4 record. In their last bout, Johnson County tipped Wilkinson County (Irwinton, GA), 18-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Cobras clash with the Glascock County Panthers (Gibson, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, September 24. Twiggs County will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 15-5 record after their 8-5 league win over Georgia School for Innovation & Classics (Hephzibah, GA).
